On 28.11.2007 at 10.30 the project Neviastata (the Bride) was officially opened. This project is accomplished by club Snowboard Society - Smolyan with the financial support of an EU program Phare-TGS between Bulgaria and Greece.
The main objects of this project are to adjust the rock Neviastata to a new green tourist destination, to develop a new complex and integrated product of sustainable tourism and to stimulate a wider use of the resources connected with tourism in the region and the extension of the geographic scope.
A marked and certified eco-road was set up due to the project. The eco-road begins from the arch of chapel St. Pantaleymon and continues in the direction of the rock Neviastata (750 m. high) and consist of three panoramic grounds , a ground for kids, a camping place, four routes for rock climbing with different levels of difficulty, via ferrata (an iron road) with two routes, alpine trolley and artificial climbing wall.
Partners in this project are the Regional Administration Smolyan and the Greece organization PRAXIS Culture.
