Club Snowboard Society - Smolyn was established in 1998 from a group of friends gathered by their love to mountains, snow and snowboard. At present the chairman of the club is Dimitar Ivanov – Zelenia, ex snowboard competitor and snowboard coach. The club has many awards and cups won in the past thanks to Dimitar Ivanov, Angel Papucharov, Fani Kehayova, Emilia Kabadozova and other of members.

Club Snowboard Society has qualified instructors and professional equipment for all offered services in winter sports, mountaineering, rock and sport climbing by natural or artefical climbing walls.

In 2009 year the association of "Club Snowboard Society" - Smolyan town, changed it`s name to association of "Free European Socity". The board of menagers was changed, as a presedent of chairman was sellected Kelbecheva Rositsa. The club now is open to attracting new members, growing it`s activity and applying for different EU programs for developing of sport and tourism in Bulgaria.
